    The North End is possible one of the most famous sections in Boston Massachusetts. This part of the city is known as Little Italy. With an amazing amount of history and culture, the North End has become one of the most well-known Italian areas in the state.

    When the North End was originally settled, the residents were among the wealthiest in the state. It later became one of the first communities in Boston to be the home of black Americans. The Irish soon moved in, followed by a large amount of Jewish residents. It wasn't until the early 20th century that the Italians settled in. Since then, the North End is known to be the center of the Italian communities in and around Boston.

    There are many historical sites in the North End. The Old North Church and Paul Revere's house can be found here. The Freedom Trail passes through this wonderful community, and the small streets are lined with award-winning Italian restaurants and cafes.
