Joined by a superb lineup including Charenée Wade (vocals), Adam O’Farrill (trumpet), Kris Davis (piano), Larry Grenadier (bass), and Kassa Overall (dj), Mahanthappa and Carrington will honor Charlie Parker’s centennial year by showcasing Bird’s uncompromising musical legacy.
