Two of Mali’s biggest stars, Habib Koité and Bassekou Kouyaté, come together with a full band for an extraordinary evening of African music.
Event Details
Koité is a guitar virtuoso and modern troubadour with a sweet, intimate voice. Kouyaté is a master of the ngoni, an ancestor of the banjo. Both musicians have blurred the lines between West African and American roots music, creating intricately woven lines and crisp bluesy riffs.
