3rd Annual Filipino Festival in Malden

Hi everyone!It's time to save the date for the third annual Filipino Festival in Malden!  Each year we strive to make it more exciting and engaging as we impart more knowledge about the Filipino cultural heritage to the community.  This year, we present to you "The Philippines as a Cultural Mosaic."The culture of the Philippines comprises a blend of traditional Filipino and Spanish traditions, with influences from America and other ASEAN countries.  The Filipinos are religious and family-oriented, with an appreciation for art, fashion, music and food.  This four-hour festival is filled with family-friendly activities, cultural performances and LOTS OF FOOD!  Yes, a lot of good food - not only Filipino cuisine but also a taste of Japanese, Spanish, Chinese and others.
This program is possible thanks to a partnership with RE/MAX Trinity of Malden, and is also supported in part by a grant from the Malden Cultural Council, a local agency, with additional support from the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.The third annual Filipino Festival will be held on June 22nd, Saturday from 3:30PM to 7:30PM at the Malden YMCA.
