Boston University City Planning and Urban Affairs Professor Jim O’Connell, Ph.D., (Author, The Hub’s Metropolis: Greater Boston’s Development from Railroad Suburbs to Smart Growth) will lead a walking tour that provides an orientation to downtown Boston and to the newly-developed Seaport District. The tour will cover South Station, Rose Kennedy Greenway, Fort Point Channel, Seaport District, Harborwalk, and the Financial District. The tour will include both historic landmarks and cutting-edge business and residential developments. This tour will start at the main entrance at South Station. This tour is open to new MET International students only.
