Description
The Space-Age Presidency of John F. Kennedy
Event Details
President Kennedy is indelibly linked in the minds of most Americans with his bold 1961 goal of “landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the Earth,” but he also put his imprint on many other aspects of the US space program during his three-and-a-half years in office. Join John Bisney and JL Pickering, authors of The Space-Age Presidency of John F. Kennedy as they explore Kennedy’s less well-known interactions with America’s space program and the race to the Moon.
