Scholars American Bistro and Cocktail Lounge is a unique and innovative addition to the Downtown area, offering refined cuisine and imaginative cocktails in an uncommonly relaxed atmosphere. In addition to two full service bars and eclectic restaurant and lounge seating, Scholars offers good sounds, knowledgeable service, and an impressive billiards room. The kitchen at Scholars stays open till 11 PM, Monday-Saturday and Sundays until 10PM and features cuisine inspired by regional classics but original in its execution. The restaurant opens for lunch every day at 11 AM, Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm. The beverage program at Scholars features a sophisticated craft cocktail menu, refined wine selection, and an extensive variety of craft beers with an emphasis on domestic microbrews. The knowledgeable staff can find the right beverage for any palate or for any food pairing, and menus will change seasonally. The bar is open until 2 AM, seven nights a week.
