With its subterranean location, sensuous red lighting, and welcoming staff, Lizard Lounge brings such a unique vibe to performances that Rolling Stone Magazine hailed, “Lizard Lounge is where it’s at – intimate, eclectic hot spot.” Lizard Lounge features live performances seven nights a week (cover varies), ranging from the area’s hottest local bands to touring national acts. In addition to rock and roots, you might also find opera, classical music or Balkan folk music dotting the Lounge’s diverse calendar. As ongoing series, every Monday night features The Lizard Lounge Open Mic Challenge hosted by Tom Bianchi, and every Sunday night, The Jeff Robinson Trio hosts the legendary Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam and Slam (14 years running!). In addition, the world renown groove collective Club D’Elf has called Lizard Lounge home for over 13 years and can be seen performing here once or twice a month. The Lizard Lounge has a full bar, cocktail list, and 30 brews on tap. Our dinner menu is available every night until midnight. And talk about a great place for a party!
