Hinkley Swim Pond is open 7 days a week from 10am - 6pm. Hinkley Swim Pond is open for the 2021 season from June 19 - August 20

The swim pond receives chemical treatments, administered by Solitude Lake Management, roughly every 2-3 weeks. Over the last several years this has been a spray, either from a boat or backpack.

The two chemicals used were Captain (active ingredient is Copper and there are no water restrictions with this treatment) and SeClear (active ingredient is Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate1, also used with no water restrictions).
