Description
South African guitarist Derek Gripper transcribes the works of Malian masters originally written for the 21-string kora (harp lute) to a six-string classical guitar.
Event Details
For his widely acclaimed African Strings project, he performs original, contemporary, and traditional African music, joined by Congolese guitarist Jaja Bashengezi and Ugandan multi-instrumentalist Kinobe.
